prep/make time 10 minutes with clean up

Ingredients

  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 1/2 cups garbanzo beans, use canned if it’s easier or by all means use fresh and cook them well.
  • 3 Tbs. Tahinni
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 Limes  = the juice
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro, rough chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blend avocado pulp with most of the garbanzo beans (chic peas), lime, garlic and Tahinni in a food processor add a splash of water or more lime juice if it’s to thick. Leave some of the garbanzos out to add when finished along with the cilantro for garnish it’s also a nice touch to add the avocado seed.
  2. Best served with fresh salsa, some corn tortillas or as an accompaniment to fajitas or tacos.  If you like it hot add some jalapeno or Srirracha for some kick when serving.
